This month, we would like to introduce you to Officer Emily Dyer. Officer Dyer is an 18-year veteran of the Londonderry Police Department. She has spent time in the patrol division and previously worked as our SRO for LMS. Officer Dyer worked many years on patrol at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. She has been the advisor of the LPD Cadet program since 2017.
Officer Dyer wanted to take the spotlight off her momentarily and put it on the LPD Cadet program. The LPD Cadet program is open to students ages 14-20 who have an interest in law enforcement or the military. The Cadet program meets bi-weekly on Monday nights from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Please get in touch with Officer Dyer if you’re interested in joining the program! EDyer@londonderrynhpd.gov
Alright, back to Officer Dyer. She was recently re-assigned to our SRO program. Officer Dyer will mostly be found at South School and Moose Hill, but she will not be a stranger in the other elementary schools. For example, today, we saw her at North School (go bears!). She enjoys spending time with her family and puppy (Toby) and going to the beach on her days off
