The Londonderry Police Department now has a significant role in Homeland Security, and has grown into being one of the largest police agencies in the State of New Hampshire.
The Londonderry Police Department Honor Guard consists of volunteer officers who take pride in representing our police department across New England at a variety of special functions to include: Parades, ceremonies, funerals, and other special events.

The Londonderry Police Department has had a active K-9 Unit since 1987. Most of the department’s K-9s have been dual purpose K-9s in that they are certified as patrol service dogs and narcotic detection dogs.
The Londonderry Police Department is a member of a regional special weapons and tactics team known as the Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit (SNHSOU).
When an accident results in serious injury or death, the Londonderry Police uses a team of highly trained accident investigators known as the TAR Team.
